Conley Staley

PROSTAFF TEAM - TEXAS
Conley Staley has been a Tournament Fisherman for the last ten years. He has only been seriously involved for the last three years fishing more and more tournaments every year. The first tournament circuit that Conley fished was with his wife,Kelly, in the Two Of Us Couples Tournaments and Conley and Kelly managed to make the championship.
In 2000 Conley managed his highest tournament finish with a 2nd Place overall weight and 2nd place big bass in a open tournament. This fueled the fire to fish as many tournaments as possible. This led to Conley being asked to be a instructor for the 4H Kids Fish program started by the local 4H club. He found this very rewarding, but due to work requirements had to discontinue.
In 2001 Conley made the decision to step up to the WalMart Bass Fishing League. Conley managed to fish 4 of the 5 Tournaments in the tour. He finished 111th out of 239 anglers even after missing the last tournament. He also finished 2nd in the NFL Benefit Tournament for CAST For Kids, and a week later finished Third in the Hood County Team Bass open.
2002 brought a promotion at work and more time restraints. Conley and Kelly are fishing the C.A.S.T. Couples Tournaments. He is also fishing the Texas 100 Teams events, along with the Working Mans tournaments every Wednesday Night.
Conley has his sights set on the BASS Federation Tournaments for next year. While still participating in the CAST Couples Tournaments. His goals are to get evolved with the Kids Fish program again and to make the Championships for each of the tournaments that he is fishing. He would like to move up to the BASS and Everstart tournaments in the next few years.
Even though Conley has never won a tournament he has been runner up in a lot of tournaments that he has fished, its just a matter of time before the victory is his.
