Jim started fishing in 1989 with Hardware City Bassmasters.
Jim is one of the charter member of Bell City Bassmasters
and the current State secretary of the Connecticut Bass
Federation. Jim has been an active member within the
CBF since he joined in 1989, holding positions on the
Tournament & Banquet committees as well as working
on the 2002 Eastern Regional Committee.
He has qualified for the Ct State Championship every
year since he has been a member of the CBF and in 2001
qualified for the Mr. Bass Tournament.
Jim's favorite lure is a crankbait. In the process of
honing his skills with the crankbait, he has along with
his partner finished in the top 20 in the team tournaments
they have fished.
Jim attributes his success in the last 5 years with
the fact that he has spent countless hours perfecting
his skill with the crankbait. Jim currently manufactures
his own spinnerbaits.
One of Jim's most enjoyable fishing times was working
with the Pros at the 2002 Bassmasters University in
Harrisburg,PA.
