Dennis began fishing the local lakes and ponds with his father at the age of 4, and ever since then he has been hooked. Dennis grew up in Massachusetts where both freshwater and saltwater game fish were right in his back yard. Throughout childhood Dennis pursued largemouth, small mouth, and striped bass, but eventually taking more of an interest if the freshwater species. “When I was younger I would turn on Bill Dance Outdoors before I would any cartoons”. After high school, bass fishing became more than just a hobby to Dennis, and dreams of a professional career began to take flight. Dennis is an active member of the North American Fishing Club (NAFC) and FLW Outdoors where he is an angler on the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League (BFL). Dennis still currently lives in Massachusetts where he chases the buckets mouth with his flipping stick any chance he gets, and also answers fishing questions on his website www.dennisbligh.com. Dennis’s favorite fishing techniques are flipping jigs into heavy cover, and burning spinner baits along windblown shorelines.
