Mike is also a familiar face in our fishing industry. Mike is the Regional Pro-Staff Director for lucky Craft Lures out of Japan. Mikes duties include supervising the entire Pro-Staff, selecting new members and input with product development and testing. This position gives Mike the opportunity to travel the country to attend tackle/trade shows and seminars. You can find him annually manning the Lucky Craft booth at the prestigious Bassmasters Classic.

Mike doesn’t have a specific tactic he specializes in when bass fishing, he is proficient in most methods. His favorite types of fishing are crankbaiting and spinnerbait fishing. Mike’s competitiveness and knowledge have placed him in the winner circle of many tournaments. His knowledge of his home waters makes him a threat at any tournament.

Mike’s greatest satisfaction comes when he is promoting his sponsor’s products. His keen knowledge of the fishing industry ins and outs has made him a well-respected speaker at numerous seminars and speaking engagements.

During the spring and summer, you will find Mike at Kerr Lake, Gaston Lake or on one of the many Eastern North Carolina coastal water systems fine tuning his skills. His love of the sport and the outdoors keeps Mike’s energy level high. When he’s not on the water, he can usually be found hanging out with his buds at “Coors Bait & Tackle” shooting the breeze and talking with all the customers.
