OVERVIEW
Although
no longer active on the pro circuits, Frank keeps a
hand on the cutting edge of the Bass fishing world.
A conversation with Frank usually results in the refinement
of a technique or a solution to a problem encountered
in a days fishing. Franks emphasis in the
fishing world has taken a turn to the protection of
the waters and the education of the public in regards
to fishing and clean waters. Considered the grumpy
old man of the pro staff, he is one of the more
tenacious watch dogs for fishermen rights! He
believes that turning kids into fisherman will help
to insure that there will be open waters for all in
the future and access will never become a matter of
financial status.
His fishing history includes competition at all levels
of competitive bassin along with an international
reputation as a fly tyer, and fly fisherman. He has
fly fished from the Florida Keys for Bonefish to the
rivers of Ireland for Atlantic Salmon, from the brook
trout streams in the Adirondaks to the blue water of
the Gulf stream fighting tuna on a fly. A published
writer he is the former educational editor for the NY
Bass Angler magazine and a frequent contributor to sites
along the web. He is currently the president of Long
Island Bassmasters and as such holds a seat on the Long
Island Fisheries Advisory Council.
Were glad to have
a pro staff member with his expertise and experience
on board.
