Confident and focused, Brian Caudill is a rising star among the ranks of Ohio's tournament anglers. With 24 years of bass fishing experience, including 7 years of competition, to his credit, Brian is capable of finding and soliciting strikes from bass across a wide variety of conditions and locations.

A skilled river angler, Brian started his angling career in the smallmouth streams of central Ohio before moving on to the state's larger rivers. He spent many summers as a youth extracting spotted bass from the various pools of the Muskingum River, and it was there that he found his love for tournament angling. He considers the Muskingum one of his favorite waterways, and continues to fish as many events there as possible.

Although Brian is savvy in river fishing, and credits much of his angling prowess to the lessons he learned on rivers, he is multi-dimensional and has enjoyed success on a variety on lakes and reservoirs, including Lake Erie. Electing not to be confined to the boundaries of any one particular technique, Brian chooses not to select a "favorite" method, but instead tries to let the bass tell him what to do. He considers his decision-making, based on a combination of on-the-water evaluation and ability to draw on past experiences, his strongest asset, and he is constantly evaluating and learning from every event. He compliments his time on the water with countless hours of research and study.

Brian enjoys a full tournament schedule, participating in the Wal-Mart BFL, Salmoides, and Muskingum River Buddy Bass Circuits, along with various open and weekly events. He also belongs to the Out Cast Bassmasters, a local club that fishes several tournaments a year. An advocate of youth fishing, club membership also gives him a chance to participate in several CastingKids events each winter.

An Ohio State University graduate, Brian appreciates a rewarding career directing both the human resources and information technology functions for a local company. He also enjoys spending time with his family. In his spare time, he writes bass fishing articles, and applies extensive computer experience to his own personal website.
