Scott Johnson is 36-years old and has been fishing
almost all his life.He has been married for 12 years to
his wife Julia and together they have a 7 year old daughter
named Brittny. Scott started bass fishing 7 years ago
on a competitive level.He owes a lot to his father,who
started him fishing at an early age.In 1996 he joined
Proline Bassmasters and soon became the treasurer and
web master for his club. |
Along
with club tournaments he also fishes district tournaments
and this year started fishing the Walmart Bass Fishing
League in the Northeast division. Scott is also involved
with youth and environment projects that his club runs
twice a  year.
Teaching kids about fishing and conservation is a vital
part of what their club is about.He works full time as
a lead carpenter.Some of his strong points in fishing
are jigs and soft plastics, but also uses a variety of
lures.He fishes lakes in Pa near his home and ventures
to NY,NJ,MD,VT,and Canada to fish for large and smallmouth
bass.When not on the lake fishing Scott can be found spending
time with his family,playing basketball or just doing
some wood working. |
