What fantastic posts!!! Here's a question that may not be answerable, esp. since the new units have just hit the market. How much do electronics depreciate, assuming the technology remains relatively current? If I buy one of these SI units, will I be able to recoup my investment? Thanks Carl.

1st one looks like some buildings that were left standing 2nd one looks like some kind of road bed with a building or culvert 3 one trees with fish.
Got mine in the mail the other day working on getting it hooked up this week and hopefully use it this weekend.

Call, I don't really look for much depreciation until other companies come up with something better, which I don't expect in the near future. I've had some stroing offers for mine, but can't sell even if I would due to agreement with Humminbird. I think these slick units are here to saty and the rest will have to play catch-up. Johnnie

Ok, guy's First of all Carl, these unit hold there prices really good.. I have a 937 Unit which is going on 3 years old now and have been offers 800.00 for it.. The 997 will bring just about every penny back to you, I have been offered everything from 1800 - 2000 for mine.. So they will hold there value just like Johnnie said..
Now on to the Pictures,
1) This was found a week ago on Table Rock Lake. This is a storm shelter I found, you can even see the hole for the stairs going down, and where the roof used to be.. Went over this thing 10 times until I really figured it out.. Pretty cool..
2) This is an intersection where three creeks come into the main creek channel and on the right is a hump with a road bed and two creeks going right by it.. This Hump should pay off big time!!
3) This is a bluff wall on the left with a ton of trees, and alot of shad close by all of those trees.. But look at the trees really close all of those white dots are fish deep inside of them, They were crappie suspended in the trees waiting for the shad to swim by.. Another big pay off finding fish that no one else has found these fish are untouched!!
This just shows you how big these units are, I can now motor down a bank and look at trees and tell you which ones to fish with out even dropping a line.. For me that cuts out wasted time fishing I can go right to it and then just figure out how to catch them!
Good Fishing Everyone
Capt. Don

Thanks for the offer Don! I am in the process of mounting it with a Ram mount on the driver’s console. I am going to drill a hole in my Jack Plate tomorrow and mount the transducer. I am mounting my GPS puck close to the transducer that way I can mark the spot with the 2D sonar and only miss it buy about a foot. Thanks to the way the older stratos boats were made it will be really close.
I’m really excited about getting it hooked up. If I have questions I’ll give you a shout!
Thanks
