Hi 1a3a5a7a,

One of the best ways for Justin to get started would be for him to join a local bass fishing club that fishes tournaments. That is how most of us got started. Here is a listing of bass clubs in Florida, they are all affiliated with the FLW and what is known as the The Bass Federation (TBF):

You can also let him know to stop Bassin' USA for help and advise from our Prostaff and members. Everyone here likes to help people out, so he should be able to get answers to most of his questions.

Thanks for visiting our website... I hope this information helps?

Just a short add-to, try going no boat for a few tournaments, maybe you'll draw a sharp angler and learn the ropes without most of the hassles with running the trolling motor etc. Johnnie
