I threw this together over the weekend. This years prize is braggin rights and whatever is in the garage stuff. Next year (If it works) look out!! If you see something thats a glaring error or problem PM me so I can fix it or explain it better. So here it goes.

Okay Sportsfans,

We are having the first annual Classic Contest. I am calling it that because I couldn’t come up with a cool name. You can suggest a proper name with your first list of picks.

Prior to the 7:00PM Pacific Standard Time on February 19, 2009, post in order of who you think has the best chance of advancing past the cut, TEN (10) Classic participants from the list below. They shall be posted in the manner that follows;
1) Angler X
2) Angler Y
3) Etc.
with number 1 being your favorite. The number one pick is worth 40 points to you if he advances past the cut. Number 2 is worth 38 points, Number 3 is worth 36 points down to the tenth pick being worth 20 points. After Day 2 ends, the scores will be totaled. Your score will be the sum of the point values of your surviving anglers. When you list your original picks, you will pick who you think will win the Classic. If that pick wins, you get 50 bonus points. You will also pick a loser, who you think will finish last. If you get that one right you get 25 points. These pre tourney winner and loser picks cannot be changed.

After the cut down to 25 at the end of Day 2, you will have to trim your team to five members. If you have more than five left you will pick five that made the cut from your list to take into the last day that you think will do best. If you have less than five left you can pick anglers from places 15 through 25 in the tournament standings at the end of day 2 to fill out your five man team. This list must be submitted in the same form as on the 19th and posted before 12:00PST on February 21, 2009. The scoring will be at the end of the tourney, with a value of 50 points for the winner, 45 for second place and 40 for third place, 35 for fourth, and 30 for fifth. Ties get the same points for each angler. The scoring will include all points garnered for the tourney, pre cut, post cut, and bonus picks.

The contestant that finishes the tourney with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, the contestant whose pre tourney classic winner pick finishes the highest wins. If the tie still stands, the person whose loser pick finishes lower wins.

Have Fun and Good Luck!
Don't forget to get the wives and kids involved too!

Clarification!!
The Winner and Loser Bonus Picks are in addition to your 10 picks. So pick your top ten and then list your projected winner and loser.
