Hey everyone, i got up to the lagoon today. first went to gallions to get food and mealworms. i get to the ramp and i see bassaholic fishing. i unload and start fishing. i start fishing with mealworms and an ika. with only bluegills taking my mealworm. Bassaholic and i fish for 4 hours with him getting i think a couple bites. i caught about 7 bluegill, 2 big redears and a small largemouth all on mealworms.
we also saw 2 HUGE bluegill and a carp.

Nice.so like on average hows the bass fishing at the lagoon right now?

Well im not sure but they seem shallow.
i was fishing and i saw alot of boils

Well yea Im planniing on going soon dont know when.I wanna use my senkos out there

Hey swimbait... went back at 7pm and pulled in a 3lb. bass on a plastic worm. told ya I do better in the evening I had a good time fishing with and your Dad.

Just talked with the owner of Castaic Tackle and he was shore fishing in the back of the Lagoon a couple days ago and caught a sweet 13lb. lunker on a senko at about 9pm. Just passing along fishing info as I get it...

Yea those senkos are a very simple plastic worm.And the reason why they are pricey is because they catch fish.

im sorry Bassaholic i just cant wait to fish dusk.i just have to fish in the morning.its to long of a wait.

Dusk to dark can be a very good time at the Lagoon. Especially with the Senko.

I know of a lot of big ones that have been caught at that time with the Senko.

They come in pretty big at the south end too!

I had the privilege of watching Butch Brown fish the other day and [censored]! all I have to say is he probably caught 100lbs. of fish before lunchtime! Thats not luck, that is pure Talent!
