I have been trying to pare down some of my tackle and I have over eighty spinnerbaits. How many do you carry? I'll bet-way too many. I think I probably use maybe twelve of these baits, of course I do have duplicates in case I lose an old favorite. Do you have too much of anything?

Johnnie... are you really asking us to lay it out there for the world to see? Whenever my wife asks, the answer is always "NO". So with that said, I will need to stick to my story, although I will share that on more than one occasion I have order a bulk load of a certain type of lure only to find out later that I had a some stashed away. I don't need to buy any tube baits for a very, very long time...

The rule is that if you leave it at home, that's when you'll need it...

I still carry the tournament mentality to be prepared for anything and any thought, Oh and always carry 2 of everything. Since I became an out of shape desk jockey I can no longer lift my tackle boxes into the boat. I try to downsize every year, but with each trip the small box gets fuller and replaced with the bigger box and eventually the workshop is empty and the boat is much lower in the water. It a disease. My weakness is hard baits, love them like girlfriends. Next is the soft plastics, which carry tremendous weight when you carry all of them. Spinner baits not so much, two boxes and maybe some fold out, and the blade and skirt box. It kills me when I go with Brendan. He uses a little old band aid box with one jig and catches all of the fish!!!

I would imagine we're all guilty. Those soft baits can really add up tow and I actually use so few of them. By the time I figure out something I like won't produce, it's time to leave. The only reason crankbaits stay in check is I lose a lot of tem from time to time. Johnnie

Guilty!!! I have way to much stuff in the boat!!! But hey you just never know when you might need it! I have spinner baits in a box that have sat there so long the skirts have fallen off. I have cut back alot on buying stuff, because I have found just a few baits that I find myself throwing all the time, and those are the ones I replace often the rest of the stuff is getting moved into the shop for "specialty" use. You know like the 15" worms that I bought for Lake Fork and Rayburn. I know that once I clean the boat out it will run alot faster!! lol!!!!

My wife has so many changes of clothes. She absolutely won't be seen in the same clothes twice-but I can wear a pair of jeans for a week and the same shirt if I don't spill Fish Formula on it!

I only have to change if I spill the shad scent on my collar, otherwise I'm good.

And tell me this, how come women never know what they want to buy when they go into a store? They are worse than us at Bass Pro Shops.
