Here in NY the fall weather has definitely been unlike most falls we have here and that has impacted the fishing as well. As I continue to learn more about fishing and all the variables that you have to consider, I have learned weather is an important one.

What conditions have some of you been faced with this fall season?

I have been faced with a lot of wind. Sometimes it is even too windy to launch the boat, so the lake is closed! I didn't get to go last week because Castaic was closed due to the wind.

It's been pretty windy here and has been rainy, but the temp has been a higher than we are used to for his time of year, so that has made an impact as well.
