I've been lookin around for the best reel for the price. Found one very cheap and the specs on it sound good but i don't know much about them. It is an old Heddon HD75 spinning reel.

3 ball bearings
5.8:1
infinite anti reverse
machined aluminum spool
precision balanced rotor & handle
twist fighting super roller

I am hesitant to buy because its awfully cheap and i don't think heddon even makes reels anymore. If anyone has used this reel or these specs sound good or bad enough to buy or not buy please reply.

XJX,

Most quality reels do have a high price that goes along with it. I got a few Quantum reels a couple of years ago and they are great. Recently, I came across a great deal on some Okuma reels--top of the line reels with 11 ball bearings. They only cost $39.00. Keep one thing in mind, spend the money for a quality reel because it will last a longer time than those cheap reels.

XJX,
I have to agree with Mark, pass on this deal and save up a little more and buy a new reel. Most spinning reels are good, even the lower end ones are okay. If the reel you're considering is only a few dollors, you could buy it for a back-up. More than $15.00 I'd pass. Good luck, Johnnie \:\)
