Cool setup. I haven't seen many horizontal rod holders for a tube before. The flag adds a nice touch too, haha.

Good pics...thanks. It is held to the float tube by nylon strap which go through the steel rings you show in your picture? How much do you think you spent on making it?

I personally built with hydraulic material... Spending maybe $ 25...assembled with rivets..
The float tube has two plastic rings for side, i put on the rodholder to these rings by the metal rings you saw in my photo...
I hope I expressed correctly... laugh

I got ya, the FishCats that are sold in the U.S. also have two plastic rings. I would have a problem trusting the rings as I would probably want a strap that actually goes around the tube to make sure it really holds all of my expensive rods and reels that is why I was asking. Thanks for the feedback.

I find it interesting the you call it hydrolic material (which it is) but we just call it PVC tubing or pipe. We use it a lot to irrigate our lawns in the U.S.

I thought the same thing but I never had any problems ..
I think in future I will change the plastic rings with metal rings
I tell you that my English was bad ...
I mean electrical equipment, not plumber material, PVC smile
expensive rods and reels? I'm curious...
Can I know your combos??

That looks like a nice setup... very creative on your part...

I like the Pirate's flag, have you hijacked any other float tubes while you are out there?

Sponzo...Here's a picture of my tube setup. I usually have 4-5 rods with me all setup to go. I also have a fish finder and life jacket. The rods that I'm currently using (different than what the picture shows) are:
Shimano 2000 spinning reel with Bass Pro Bionic Blade 6'medium action
Shimono 1000 spinning reel with Fenwick graphite 4'9" ultra light
Abu Garcia C701LX spinning reel with Daiwa Graphite 5'9"
Quantum AC500Pt Bait Caster on a Cabela's Gold Label 6'4" reel
None of them are real expensive $90 - $120 US for the reels and about $80 - $100 for the rods. However if they were all to fall off my tube it adds up.
