Ijoind a b.a.s.s. chapter this year and would like some tips.mostly for cold water,when you fish all day for 1 or 2 bites thats tuff fishing. & the fact that I will be fishing from the back of the boat means used water I need some help thanks

Hi,Gillster I'm not a pro but some of my tips may help you.First backseat fishing,it can be bad or good the angler you are fishing with can't cover every inch of water so pay attention to the area's he is skipping or missing and try to hit those spot's.Most of the time in a bass chapter the person you are fishing with should help you out and show you what is going on.Cold water,slow presentations larger lures.this time of year the bait fish are larger so you want to try to match what's in the area you are fishing.Temperature will always be coldest near the surface,Bass in northern waters look for stream mouths entering lakes which creates a slight differance in temperature.Deeper water.Back to the backseat don't be afraid to ask your partner questions,I personely learned more fishing from the backseat.I hope the couple of tips I suggested will help you and goodluck.
