I recently hosted a new TV fishing show that will appear on the outdoor channel sometime in January. "Lunkerville" is a new show with a different twist. They focus on local guys who are not big name pros and they go out to fish secret places to try to catch big fish. I got my hands on the edit tape and realized that I was wearing my Pro Staff Bassin USA hat. Bright and bold, the red, white and blue showed up prominently on the tape. In all the show was a huge success. I took a 4lber and a fish over 5 from one of my tournaments for the tape....talk about pressure. It was a great experience and I've already been invited back to do a show on tube fishing. I feel kind of corny watching myself but it was a great experience and the company that shoot the video did a phenominal professional job.

I think its good to see something on the local guys, there are quite a few of them that probably could teach a pro a thing or 2 about the fish in their lake. I will definetly be watching for Lunkerville, i watch most of the fishing shows on OTDCH. That sounds like a fun program to be involved in, there's no guarantee that fish will be caught, MAKES FOR SUSPENSEFUL TELEVISION!!!! good luck with future episodes Craig, Cole Thompson

Congratulations, outstanding opportunity for your career in proffessional fishing! If they have already invited you back you must have made one heck of an impression. Again...congrats!

Craig, OUTSTANDING!! Great to hear. Glad you had on the Bassin' hat too. We don't get the show here, but I bet its good, I like the format. Keep it up and you'll be the next Roland-"what's his name". Congrats. Johnnie ;\) \:\)

Craig,

That's great... I'd love to get a copy to show around the office.

Thanks,

Craig,
Glad you had fun with the show. Now you know a bit of what it is like for us guys that do this all the time. Only, there is also the business end, which you wouldn't want to know about.

Anyway, good job. Wish we got the show in this area.

Maybe if I can get one of these new shows of mine up and running I'll see if you want to be a guest. Wish a lot of you guys were closer so I could get you at least on radio. That is one good thing about the portable mini disc recorders with a Shure studio microphone. On site interviews sound like you are in the studio.

I should be having Johnnie on my show shortly when he finds some time to get over. He has a new toy - a G3 rig, so is busy playing with it. \:\)
Best of fishing,
Dan
