I recently bought a cheap drop shoting kit a local retail store and I am wondering how you guys fish them, if any of you do.

Hi Zack,

I'm sure you'll get some additional feedback from the other ProStaff guys, but I thought this article I had written would be helpful. Let me know what you think.

Zach, welcome to the site, I use the drop shot any time I feel the fish are presured and I need to keep the bait in the Bass's face to make them bite. It is a limited application and will give you lots of activity. Zach remember that location always dictates presentation and that if we allow ourselves to taylor our areas or locations based on our favorite technique we will be limiting our ability to learn and achieve. Good Bassin' Dan Bass

Zach- Brendan and Dan have given you some really good information. I hope you try out your rig as indicated and let us know how it works. It may require a few more adjustments and our Pro Staff stands ready to help you if you ask.
Thanks for posting. JoeMo
