on-3, In most California lakes, trout are the basic forage for bass. You most likely will need to strive for trout colored lures. Swim baits will work very well, I'd try a five inch swimmer with a 1/4 ounce head. Green colors are also good, and the watermelon should be okay. I may be wrong, but I don't look for the black/sapphire Brush hog to do much. I love them here in Iowa, but our water is dirty most of the time. Using the flukes and senkos Texas rigged with no weight should work, try to fish some main lake points and if there are any creek channels, try the back ends of them. Fish the clear water a lirrle faster than you narmally would fish, don't let the fish get a good look at the baits. Good luck, keep us posted. Johnnie
