Dan- Thanks for posting this. Now I know I might just as well stay home. But, I won't.
I'm "babysitting" another old Member for the day. I told him, "You're gonna catch the biggest bass in the lake and walk away with the Mr. Bass Title" I wasn't sure if he believed me, but his wife told me he's wearing a suit to HH. lol

everybody don't forget that last years classic winner ( brendan )is already in the classic so you don't count him in the top 9 in points.

Ray, I think you are wrong it is the top 10 inclusive of the classic winner and the top two guys with weight so it is as it reads. Also the match ups are Brendan with the number 12 man and Eric with the #11 man and on and on..... Tx Dan

Joe, just go out and catch 12 pounds per tournament I know you can do that!! Question are you and Mitch being the classic officials if you don't make it?

I'm willing but Joe has to speak for himself. It still depends on the last two tournaments I still may squeak out a place in the classic ;\)

I never met a tournament I didn't like. But 12 lbs per? I think I've done that 3 times in my bassing life and one of those was back in the Dark Ages when we were allowed to catch more bass.
If Mitch is agreeable for Classic Official, I'll be there. JoeM

Dan, i know we are saying the same i think. but the rules read as follow,
CLASSIC QUALIFING CONTESTANTS ARE THE TOP 9 ANGLERS IN POINTS PLUS THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S CLASSIC WINNER AND THE 2 CONTESTANTS WITH THE HIGHEST TOTAL WEIGHT NOT IN THE TOP 9 IN POINTS.
i just put that in there so we don't have any misunderstandings. thanks.

hey, aren't there some other guys who have been running the tournaments all year, that might be the officals at the classic!! maybe you should ask them first, before you ask anyone else. just wondering!!

Hey guys, Ray is right. If there are guys who are on the Committee who want to officiate at the Classic, by all means let's get them to go. My impression was that I was asked because you needed officials. But let's do what's right. JoeM

So let me get this straight... I win last years clasic, and I have to fish with the person who qualifies for last place at the classic??? One would think that the person who finishes first would get the honor of being backseated by me all day... (lol) Hey, who ever gets in my boat... I appologise in advance, it's going to be a very tuff day. Just pray that we're not fishing trees or docs!

(At least I'm honest)

Is the verdict out on wether or not we can use our own boats at the Classic? (No offense Brendan!)

I think everyone should fish from their own boat, alone during the classic! If you don't have a boat, BUY ONE, or don't complain... (Just kidding)

I've been a backseater too... It can really suck. The unfortunate truth is that your only salvation is to become the boater.
