"net boy", "administrative assistant", "golf caddy".......they are all the same. If golf pro's getting caddies, shouldn't a fishing pro get one too \:\)

To all of you- Keep this thread growing. For now, I'll shut up and let you guys keep going.
I think I'll do some research. Just got my May issue of B'master and I'm trying to understand the new BASS formats (so I can explain the logic of the formats to college profs and rocket scientists.) Playoffs? Ray Scott will turn over in his Triton.
Back to the Great Discussion......

ok brendan you ask for a non-boaters side, here it is. when i first got into club tx it was to learn more about bass fishing then i already knew, which wasn't much you know what i mean brendan lol. anyway when my partner and i travled upstate to some lake i would split half the cost of gas(car, and boat)tolls, launch fee. it would run about $20-$30 for the day.
but when i started fishing some of the redman(now wbfl)it was still about learning to bass fish. but also a chanch to fish lakes i read about in mags and tv shows on a $35k bass boat for a entry fee of $75 and a chanch to win $ as compared to $250+ for a guided trip you do the math. also i only give him $20 for gas, cause he is only bring me to his spots. it's not like i'm incharge of the day anyway! also the boater has a larger payout then the non-boater so he is going to do what he wants! thats how i feel hope i put some insight on this from non-boater side.
also i always thank the boater for having me on his boat nomatter how the day turned out!
