My first tournament I have ever fished is coming up. How do I get ready for such a big event. give me some lists of things to do please.

Have at least 4 rods ready. 2 casting, 1 spinning, and 1 flippin. have a variety of your favorite baits on them.

Make sure all your line is fairly new, if not put on some new line. All your hooks need to be sharp. If you are a non boater, but have a boat, prefish the water to help your boating partnet. If you are a boater, prefish but don't stick too many fish right before the tournament.

Make sure you have some catch n release to keep your fish alive. If possible, a scale and culling bobbers are also good.
