Heres a couple of tips that have really improve your chances.
Take a tube bait and slip it over a Guido bug lure.
Place a carolina float collar just past the head of a berkley power pulse worm. The tube will produce when bites are tough, the worm will float and become a top water killer. I always use a 4/0 gamakatsu hook texas rigged on the worm.
