How many of you have tried Carlson's Glitter On? It is available in several colors. I like using the red to apply a gill slash to my white or shad soft plastic jerk baits, and for repainting the dished out eyes on a Manniac crankbait.

The chartreuse has worked well for painting the claws of a craw worm, or legs of a soft plastic jig trailer.

The uses are many.

It is has a glue base, so don't lay it on any surface while drying. Also, the glue smell will change to an anise odor. That seemed strange at first, but it works.

Dan, I have never tried it where can you get it? I like sparkles that are like the wings of a butterfly when you touch them, does the sparkles look like that? I paint lures in new colors using Gel Flake and I can custom paint any lure for anyone who would like to have their own patern, (my favorite is Grey Brown Blue) and it sparkles like the wings of a Butterfly. Dan,
Glitter On is produced by the Carlson Tackle Company in Illinois. Their first big success was Fishin' Glue, which is a water resistant "super glue". I actually plug a small hole in the bottom of an aluminum boat by gluing a small soft plastic lure into the hole using this glue. Their web site is www.carlsontackle.com, which will provide all the contact information. The best contact is Danny Strand. Tell Danny I sent you, and it should help open the conversation.

The product is a combination of glue and glitter. It looks a lot like the flake in soft plastic lures. It is an interesting product, with which to experiment.

Carlson has a few other products which may be of interest, but I'll let you decide after visiting their web site. By the way, their floating tube is much larger than you may first think. The tube as an air pocket, which is pumped up by squeezing the tube.

Hope this answers your question. Dan
