have to pass this one on! Have been turned on to a rather unique style of fishing this year, that has been a pretty good secret here in the Southeast for the last few years.
Its called the "Flicky Worm" All it is, is a weightless worm like a Trick worm, rigged wacky of a 5/0 or bigger hook. Fished on 10-12 pound test from the bank out to as much as 20 feet of water. The 5/0 or better hook gives you some casting distance, and makes the bait fall a little faster. Just cast it out, let it sink, and slowly "stitch" it back to the boat. First time I saw this technique, I thought the guy was wacko!! That was until he proceeded to wax my behind like a madman!!! Man this technique is weird, but I have seen it produce like none other. When the bite gets tough, they will eat it. Alot of guys now are rigging Senkos the same way and using the same technique. Something I thought I would share!!!!!

Mike- Sounds interesting. No paneling nail in the business end of the worm? A 5/0 hook will help launch that missile.

You can bet that I will be trying this out on my little lake up here. Thanks for the tip.
