It would really help if you gave out more information, but i can still list some lures that everybody should have.
1. Spinnerbait- when buying these, get ones that are from quality companies, since most cheap spinners wont last long, and tend to roll or track off. Buy either terminator, booya, strike king, or another big name company
2. Soft Plastics- If you really want to catch bass, you need these. Get an assortment of worms. Some with curly tails, some with straight. Also buy tube baits and soft jerkbaits. Any company will make good soft plastics, really. Also, you should look at a lot of books and websites to get suggestions on how to rig and work these lures in a variety of ways, they are quite versatile.
3. Crankbaits- there are 2 crankbait styles you should get. Minnow and shad types. The minnow types are typically shallow divers, and are shaped like (you guessed it) a minnow. Shad styles are usually shorter and stubbier, and are more available in deeper divers. My favorite crankbait companies are Rapala, Cotton Cordell, Bomber, and Excalabur.
4. Rattletraps- these are pretty much the same thing as crankbaits, the only difference is that instead of diving, they sink, since they dont have the lips on the end. Also, these are very thin and have very loud rattles.
