"Experience is the thing that allows you to recognize a mistake when you make it again!"

quoted 6-12-2001 (the writer's name escapes me. The words are brilliant.)

One more? How about this:
"Failing to plan is planning to fail!"

a fool and his money are soon parted

the difference between being crazy and eccentric is your income.

"waking up at 3 am to go fishing isn't a hobby, its like a second job for the weekend". the guy who works the overnight at a mobil station

positive thinking yeilds positive results. a partner i had a bunch of years back

there is no such thing as fishing too slow. nate berg

Great stuff you've posted, guys. Keep it up.

Remember, general fish talk can be about any fish. Tell us a good one.

Remember where ever you go, there you are. Live until you Die. A fool and his money are soon parted, first how do fools aquire money, is there a professional fools league? and does this explain my financial situation?
Good Bassin Dan Bass

The longest way around is the shortest way home? That's a great one, Dan. It really describes I-84 in CT. (Except you really have to know your backroads. It has taken me almost 3 full years to do some of this.) Also, can you do it pulling a boat/trailer?

It still beats the NY Thruway and US41 (the Tamiami Trail) thru Ft. Myers, FL.

I catch a lot of deformed bass, especially in tournaments, their eyes are too close to their tails!

Never reach into a tackle box while night fishing to find out what's moving around in there!

Revised song titles: Silver Spoons (Silver Wings).
Help Me Make The Big Fish Bite;(Help Me Make It Through The Night)
He Stopped Fishin' Here Today: (He Stopped Loving Her Today)
I Can't Get No Catfish Action: ( I Can't Get No Satisfaction)
Pretty Bluegill, Swimmin' Round The Lake ( Pretty Woman) :p

A couple more- IF YOU CAN KEEP YOUR HEAD WHEN ALL ABOUT YOU ARE LOSING THIERS, IT'S JUST POSSIBLE THAT YOU REALLY HAVEN"T GOT A CLUE AS TO THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE SITUATION!!

MOST OF US KNOW HOW TO SAY NOTHING, BUT FEW OF US KNOW WHEN!!!

INSANITY CAN BE DEFINED AS THE ACT OF DOING THE SAME THINGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING A DIFFERENT RESULT.

IT TAKES MORE DISICAPLIN AND CONFIDENCE TO LET GO AND TRUST, THAN TO HOLD ON AND CONTROL

People who ask your advice usually know the answer but do not like it!!!

Here is one that I saw on a sign while traveling through a town in Missouri:

"Have a nice day, if someone hasn't screwed it up already."

Or this...

Lack of adequate planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

It's tough to remember that when you are up to your behind in Alligators, that the original objective was to drain the swamp.

Automatic bilge pumps won't.

The chances of the bread falling jelly side down is directly relative to the cost and color of the carpet.

"NO WAKE" doesn't apply to the drunk on the jet ski.

Just a couple of the many I have.

A couple more;

Son to father--"YES, I DID CHECK THE PLUG!!" (personal experience)

It was a beautiful cast, it just out distanced the water.

How about a couple more...

I want to die in my sleep, like my grandfather... not screaming and
yelling like the passengers in his car!

God must love stupid people; He made so many of them

He who dies with the most toys is still dead

HAM AND EGGS - A day's work for a chicken, a lifetime commitment for a
pig

a favorite of mine...The original point and click interface was a Smith & Wesson

Joe--Glad you got a chuckle out of them, I try to be as light hearted as I can. I try to remember that if I can't have fun doing something, I must be doing it wrong! \:D
