During most of last Winter and Spring, all we heard of was Drop Shot this and Drop Shot that. I haven't heard anyone talk about using it, brag about how good it is or zip about the formerly highly-touted drop shot technique. OK guys, what's the story?

Hey guys, let's reopen this topic again. I'm thinking of giving drop-shotting a good workout on my home lake here in CT.
Right now I'm waiting for the milfoil to drop back a bit, maybe a couple more weeks. I can't use a motor, even electric. But I can drift and work that way (I think)
Would appreciate any help you could provide.

Joe,

I'm not going to post all the details, but I did write a short article with an illistration of a "Drop Shot" rig. You can start by giving this a once over:

BC- I read it all right. Still have it.
I really was looking for opinions from You and the Staff as to:
- How it might work in 8-10' of water?
- Will it work well in weeds?
- Is it a productive rig only for keepers?
That type of thing. JoeM
