I wanted everyone to know about a group put together by fellow pro staff member, Johnnie Crain. It is his Future Angler's Club, and has a $5 membership fee for kids.

It was a previledge to help him yesterday conduct his first fishing contest at Weed Park Lake in Muscatine. We had a few kids participate, and sign up for the club. All had a good time, and we only had one kid who didn't catch a fish (He wanted to cast and reel more than fish}. The ones that did listen and lure caught fish, and I was happy to say I was able to tell a couple where to cast, and catch fish immediately - wish that always happened when I cast, and thought something was there.

Anyway, we had a beautiful day, and a great time. Johnnie, thanks for inviting me, and I'll be inquiring to see if you can use the Rock Island Conservation Club lakes in the future.
