I just stocked a pond with 2 to 3 inch largemouth bass. The pond has 4 to 5 inch agressive bluegill already in it . Will the bass survive???

They should be fine. You do have some cover for them to hide in, right? Blue Gill like to peck at the eyes of smaller fish, but as long as the bass have a place to go, it won't be long until before the Blue Gill become food!

Jethro, Brendan is correct the bass should be just fine, I do hope there are baitfish or crawfish for the bass to eat? You may have to stock some pond minnows if none are present. Good luck with those bass, it won't be long until they will start to dominate the pond and you'll start catching them, The first one you catch, name it Johnnie, it'll be the dumbest bass in the pond. ;\) \:\)

When stocking a pond with Largemouth bass
really depends on the size of pond but no matter you will have survivers, Rule of thumb use to be you can stock 100 LM per surface acre if their are no channel cats in the pond or 150 if their are.Blue gill will agravate the smaller LM but i agree with Brendan,, It won't be long befor the gills are bass food.
