Well here is is the 4th of April and it's snowing today!!!??!!! All of my favorite lakes are still froze over and I'm whining about it. Winter is just hanging on and wont let go. I caught my first fish (bass) last year on the 5 of March, so I'm a whole month behind with no hope in site as it's suppose to snow all weekend. I wanna fly south for the winter. LOL I really hope we get some warm weather here soon. But in the mean time I been keeping busy making movies of my last years adventures. Here is one check it out. I was fishing with my wife's nephew the calamity kid. It's good for a chuckle Fish-n-fool on utube

Wanna Catch Fish? Don't be a Fool. Tie on a Fish-N-Fool lure an get bit.
The Fish-N-Fool Lures Website is temporally not working.
Seems by the reports hope might be coming soon for you.
Arrowrock Reservoir The reservoir levels are dropping slowly, and the ice is mostly gone. Trout fishing is starting to improve for bank anglers between the dam and boats ramps. Try fishing the steeper banks first then move to the shallow banks as the fish begin to move shallow. Worms are always a good bet, but Powerbait, and marshmallows, or some combination of the three will catch fish as well.
Boise River With continued cooler than average temperatures and sporadic flows the fishing has been fairly slow. The weather will continue to be moderately cool and the flows are likely to continue to be up and down, so even though the Fish & Game will be planting a bunch of fish in the river this month, the fishing will probably continue to be hit and miss! Try fishing for trout and whitefish with small spinners, drifting nightcrawlers, or fly casting beadhead nymph flies off the ends of deeper runs and riffles where you might find a few fish actively feeding midday.
Brownlee Reservoir The reservoir levels are starting to drop slowly and will be about 47 feet down by the week’s end. The only ramps still available are at Woodhead Park. The continuing cool weather is still keeping the crappie and perch fishing down, so until we get some consistantly warmer temperatures the fishing will not be the best. However, anglers have been catching a lot of smallmouth bass by slow retrieving crankbaits. Both crawdad and minnow patterns seem to work, but the key is finding the right bank structure where the bass are moving up into shallow water
