Wow u guys see that... You sir are a god among men. You know nobody ever fishes there. Actually this place gets very little pressure. Eveyone goes too the big mama number 4. The people who do fish here usually fish the north shore like me. Thats a great find. Now if this rain would just let up! Im on vacation next week so rain or shine Ima be out there.

Well now Im bloggin it lol... I caught 3 bass today... they were all in the 15 to 17 inch range, Today fo the first time I used a Jig and kinda jerked it across the bottom. My first time using a jig and it was extremly productive! I didnt have a trailer on the back of the jig but ima try it out. The bottom felt smooth and u could feel when u hit the rocks. It seemed like I was catchin um right at that point. Im thinkin these fish are comin in shallow to feed on the crawdads.

The jig was pretty big...black with a streak of blue. Any help with color combinations would be great. Actually any advise u guys got on fishin Jigs would be most awesome. Thanks in advance for any info!

BT, The Prostaff gave some great input awhile back on jig fishing. Jig fishing is also one of my stronger fishing techniques to fish. I have added the link which should take you to the post.

Take some pictures of your bass so we can see them. Even enter them into our photo contest. Good luck and keep us posted on your catches.

Tight lines.
