In california, as you guys know, has very clear water.that means the fish are line shy. You have to use something very realistic in the water.
some of my secrets are useing swimbaits, the drop-shot rig, and split-shotting.

I have been putting alot of time into drop shotting myself. Swimbait101 what is your preference in drop shotting. Baits perfered, hooks, wieghts ect... Interested to hear your take on the subject. Thanks.

well, for hooks, i like using size 4 and 2 owner mosquito hooks
for baits, i like to use roboworms.They do not sell robo worms over where you live so just stick with smaller finesse worms

Also, when drop-shotting, you HAVE TO remember that when you shake the rod tip, the line move to, so the thick diameter line, the more the line moves
