I heard this one when I was fishing off the bank and caught about a 5lb Largemouth Bass. I reached down to release her and gave her a kiss ... Just as I was about to release the fish, I heard "mekeep" "mekeep" ...

I looked around and saw a wise Oriental Gentleman squatting down on the bank about 30 yards away. It was him asking me if he could keep my bass.

Needless to say, she is still swimming free today. :p

Haha," a wise oriental gentlemen" I like that.
I have a similar story that took place august 2 at a BFL weigh in. I was waiting in line to get my weigh in sacks and there was an Indianish woman looking into the dead fish barral.
"I take, I take" As she pointed to her BFL weigh in bag, yes she had a weigh in bag. The gentleman releasing the unharmed bass told her she could have the casualties at the end of the weigh in. She nodds her head and starts to walk off when from behind me I hear," HEY YOU, LADY, SHE HAS OUR BAG, SHE HAS OUR BAG."I expect to see an FLW official when I turn my head but it was just an honest angler who for some reason felt he had to make a scene and embarrass this woman.By the tone of his voice you would have hought his car was being stolen.
Bag was returned.
