"Little ****s" - small bass, maybe from 1 oz to 1 pound.
"lunker" - huge bass
"snarl" - tangle in the line
"damn knot" - big knot in line
"you scared the bejesus out of me" - you have almost hooked your fishing buddy
"spooled" - when a fish takes all the line off your reel
"terminal tackle" - hooks, line, sinkers ETC.
"damn near hooked him while he was sleeping" - when you hook a fish in it's belly
"We left them at home" - what you say if a water cop asks you for your fishing license and it's expired
