Brendan (President) and I just returned from the St. Lawrence River. We fished the NY Federation six man team. We pre-fished for two days and fished the tournament sat and sun. We had an awesome time. Brendan (Boater) and I (non-boater) headed out for practice to determine what the fish wanted. Brendan put us on fish immediately. He was able to establish what pattern was needed to put together a good bag. We ended up dragging tubes using 1/4 once jigs heads. By the time the tournament was over both Brendan and I managed to boat an incredible weight of over 27 pounds each (mostly smallies). This was my first high level tournament so it was an excellent experience. We ended up in sixth place, which was the best finish that the club has accomplished. Both Brendan and I finished in the top 20 for individual status. There were over 160 fisherman in the tournament. 28 teams of six fisherman. Hats off to Brendan for reading the fishing conditions so well.

Nunz great finish on the St. Lawrence River. Some of those Federation deals can be tough. There's some good anglers out there, of course, we like to think we're better . Keep up the good work and keep us posted on any of your events. Congrats!! Johnnie
