Feathered Trailing Trebel Hook
Got some feathered trebels today, was wondering how these would work on a crankbait or a lipless crank like a red eyed shad. Would not think it would alter the action, possible lengthen the profile?? Just wondering if anyone may have tried this and the results?

Feathered Trailing Trebel Hook
Feathers and red hooks... here's my two cents. There are days when they work and days when they do not...
For feathers, I personally I like to use them on top waters, jerkbaits, suspending crankbaits and inline spinners.
Red hooks can be substituted on anything... just adding that into the mix, because I believe they both try to accomplish a similar task (triggering a strike).
In the end it alwas comes down to what the bass wants...
