Johnny Moore
PROSTAFF TEAM - LOUISIANA
Johnny has been married to Joe Ann for 30 years. The Father of one daughter, Misty and one son, John and the very proud Grandfather of four granddaughters, Jolie Hailey, Taylor and Tara.
Johnny has been fishing since a child with his Father, but the joy of his life is teaching his granddaughters, Jolie and Taylor the fine art of bass fishing.
The accomplishment Johnny is most proud of is the family oriented bass club he founded in 1996 and has watched it grow and improve every year.
Competitively fishing now for 14 years, he has won numerous awards, trophies and plaques. Trophies ranging from 1st place to 3rd and many big bass. Plaques from King Fisherman to 7 consecutive years fishing the top 6 for the A.L.B.C. at Toledo Bend.
Johnny hosts several worthwhile benefit tournaments for children family day with the B.H.B.C, Take A Kid Fishing for Wal-mart, and ALBC District 5 Youth Tournament.
His favorite thing by far is all the tournaments that he hosts for the children. He feels the most important thing is to help our future anglers and keeping our children off the streets by getting them involved in the wonderful sport of bass fishing.

Take a small patch of pads isolated against a nothing bank. It will be the centerpoint of movement for any fish living on that bank. Fish up the bank to the lilies, but before you cast to the bed think about what the best spot in that cover would be. If you can find a lane that you can bring a bait through near the center of the bed that’s good. If you can find the lane that will allow you to present your offering closest to the shady side of center that’s even better. |
